TSC Texans Named All American and Texas High School Player of the Year
The
National Soccer Coaches Association of America and adidas have recently
selected Chad Bauman, TSC Texans 88-89 Co-Captain, as a 2006 NSCAA/adidas High
School Boys ALL-AMERICAN. Coaches also ranked top players in the state
and voted Bauman as the NSCAA/adidas High School Texas STATE PLAYER
OF THE YEAR.
Chad has been invited to attend a National Convention in Indianapolis where the All-America Team and State players will be honored. Chad received Klein High School’s MVP award last season for offense and was named in the Houston Chronicle as the district 14-5A MVP. In addition, Chad was named ‘06 1st team All-District as a fullback for football and in December was one of 5 scholar/athlete award winners from across the nation receiving a scholarship from Rivals.com and Warner Bros. The award and scholarship were presented to Chad in Los Angeles as part of the “We Are Marshall” movie premier. Chad has given a verbal to Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Chad has been on the TSC Texans 88-89 since moving to Houston in 2000.
