Mike Sambursky Selected by the Houston Dynamo in the 2007 MLS Draft

INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Classics Soccer Club player Mike Sambursky was selected in the third round of Friday's MLS Super Draft by reigning Cup Champion Houston Dynamo at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Sambursky was the 39th overall pick.

At last week's MLS Player Combine, Sambursky, who is extremely athletic, displayed his versatility by playing at outside back for his team at the event. Observers took notice and were impressed with his play, despite a lack of experience at the position. Mike Played for the Classics Soccer Club Blue 84/85 before going on to college at the University of South Carolina.
